The York Trumpet Model Cornet was made from the 1920s through the early 1940s. Serial number places this horn around the first year of production, built in 1922-23. This horn is in nice condition, aside from a bend to the bell at the 3rd valve brace. Compression is perfect through the leadpipe and tuning slide, but the valves have significant compression loss and some plating loss. The valves will need to be rebuilt before this horn is in playing condition.
