Tenor Trombone

• available in 6.0mm or 6.5mm throat 
• small shank unless otherwise indicated as large shank

• Backbores come in three sizes (taper) - Small, Medium, or Large (indicated by letter at the begining)
• How to read (example) S 6.0 = Small 6.0mm throat (small shank)

Symphonic Trombone with 7.2mm throat (large shank only)

• GR0 72: tightest, good for soloists or for hard pieces for first trombones
• GR1 72: for experienced first trombones
• GR2 72: for second trombones or players looking for a fuller sound in the low register
• GR3 72: for third trombones or players doubling on bass trombone

Bass Trombone with 8.0mm throat (bass trombone/large shank only)

• GR0 80: for players who need to play in the high register from time to time 
• GR1 80: the all rounder 
• GR2 80: full deep sound
• GR3 80: for the biggest sound on the low notes

Euphonium Backbores (all items in stock are large shank)

There are 3 sizes available:

• Small (custom order at this time, contact us)
• Medium
• Large​

The smaller the backbore the tighter is the feel but also the more focused is the sound and slots are more stable. Larger backbores give a broader sound, more open feel and notes can be bent more easily.

 Throat diameter is 7.2mm throat on all models, slightly smaller than the typical Denis Wick 7.4mm. This is meant to make articulation and high notes easier to achieve.

Tuba Backbore (currently only available in GR1 and GR2 sizes)
