Description
The 800DLX "Deluxe" cornet is one of Trent's favorite horns in his collection. It's incredible!
Like the 900DLX, it has a rose brass bell, Sterling silver leadpipe (won't rot!), solid bronze valve casings, and a clear lacquer finish so you can appreciate the look of the metals. It has a 4.75" two-piece bell with a visible seam.
In full transparency, this horn did sustain a bit of shipping damage that was expertly repaired by our friends at heritage music repair. It looks and more importantly plays great with smooth valves and slides!
Check out this Demo Video from Trent! (not the horn in this listing)
This is a great collector's set for the Getzen enthusiast, or a "daily driver" horn if you're looking for a professional cornet at a very fair price (with some of the best valves on the market).
Inspired by "American" style cornets, designed to be much more. Warm and mellow, brilliant and responsive, section work and solo performance. The flexibility to fit any situation with a single instrument. A cornet with the versatility to span all playing styles and genres with ease. A special instrument deserves a special case. Sturdily built with brass hardware and a rugged, wooden body. The styled interior is fully padded and blocked for maximum protection. Handsomely bound and covered in high grade, vegan leather and fabric. A design inspired by the gladstone cases of the past.
