Great deal on the ACB by Adams Americana trumpet!
If you are familiar with the Adams Trumpet line you probably know there are a lot of options in their custom series line and in fact Trent has worked on many of the designs at the factory with Miel Adams. This new trumpet is very different from all of their custom options. This one just came in as a recent trade-in and it plays just great!
It's in great shape overall with some slight signs of playing and also has one ding in the bell (very slight and hard to photograph). Valves are perfect, fast and with excellent compression. Lacquer has some slight signs of usage, slight surface scratching, and some other just general signs of usage.
This horn is sold with no case or mouthpiece
One thing at ACB that we achieved with this horn is a more streamlined sound shape. A sound shape with tons of core and spin. We also wanted an ergonomic valveset and Adams agreed to do this for us. The all-new bell and leadpipe combination not found on any current Adams instrument are geared for commercial/recording situations and they remind us of that classic sound color you hear in the LA studios (think Uan Rasey, Chuck Findley, Conrad Gozzo, etc).
