Smith Watkins K2 Cornet
Silverplate, Smith Watkins Flight Case Included
The Smith Watkins K2 is one of the most respected professional cornets in British-style brass banding, built by the same Yorkshire workshop behind the Mike Lovatt trumpet line. The K2 leadpipe is the most popular pipe in the Smith Watkins cornet range, prized for a free-blowing feel, even response across the horn, and a broad, warm sound that stays clean and focused rather than turning woolly at volume. It is a favorite among top brass band players and has been chosen by military band services in the UK for its combination of accurate intonation, dynamic range, and dependable slotting.
This K2 comes finished in silverplate and ships in a genuine Smith Watkins flight case. It does not include a mouthpiece.
