Looking For A Fantastic Trombone Under 3K?
This instrument is an ideal choice for any serious trombone student seeking to move to their first professional large bore tenor trombone. The full tone of this trombone has a classic trombone sound that compliments the clear projection with notes snapping off the bell. The slide action is fantastic too. The AC420 trombone will work in concert band, orchestra, trombone choir, brass quintet, and solo/recital playing but versatile enough to fit into ensembles like jazz band or a pit-orchestra for a musical. The Hagmann valve is smooth and has a short, compact throw that makes the trigger-notes easily accessible.
This trombone has had one previous owner and was originally purchased in 2012. It is in, overall, very good condition though there is one small dent in the bell (see photos). The slide was redone a few years ago as a solder joint on the brace popped, was repaired by Heritage Music Repair. There are small signs of repair on that brace. There is a small ping in the slide stocking but you cannot feel it in the action.
