Quieter Practice. Remarkably Open Feel.
The Mastiff™ Flex Series Trumpet Practice Mute is designed for musicians who want to reduce their playing volume while preserving a natural, open playing experience.
The Flex Series balances moderate volume reduction with minimal change in backpressure, natural response, stable intonation, and musical tonal quality. With the mute in the bell, the trumpet remains responsive and familiar, allowing you to maintain your normal airflow and playing habits.
At approximately 2.19 oz (62 g), it adds little weight to the bell and is easy to carry. It’s an excellent choice for home practice, warm-ups, travel, rehearsals, or anytime you want to bring the volume down without heavily restricting the instrument.
The Flex Series offers a more open balance between volume reduction and natural playability than our quieter Classic practice mutes.
Reduce the Volume. Not the Playing Experience.
Built for the Way You Already Play.
