A trumpet COATED in STEEL Will it play? Check out this Inderbinen Toro Trumpet demo by Trent Austin
Wait... seriously you must be joking, right? Steel? really? That's kinda crazy!
Yep it is but will it play?
Check out this wonderful hand made trumpet from Switzerland! We do not get Inderbinen horns in the shop very often, and they tend not to last long in the shop for that very reason! New these horns sell for around $7,500!! This one is in good shape overall, with only a dent on the 2nd slide crook and a ding on the 1st slide crook. It does also have some minor wear to the steel coating (see pictures). Roy Hargrove played on Inderbinen horns for a while, and Marquis Hill as well. This horn is more suited to the soloist, and would probably not be the best choice for section work. Save over $1,500 off of the price of a new Toro with this horn!
