The Martin Handcraft Standard Cornet
Here we have a Martin Handcraft Standard Cornet. This would be a prefect instrument for a collector or those looking for a great cornet for trad jazz or dixieland work. This one is a #2 bore. The horn does show signs of use; there are a few pings in the bell stem and flare, and a few larger dents dent on the bell bow. There is also some scratching (Please see pics for details) All of the slides move smoothly and the valves move with great action and good compression but would do better with a heavier weight valve oil.
