Here's a starter option if you're looking for an American made shepherd's crook cornet, the D.E.G. Signature 2000 cornet in lacquer! All valves and slides are fast and smooth. There are a couple spots of redrot developing in the leadpipe, but no leaks. Compression is perfect through the leadpipe and tuning slide. The valves do have some compression loss so a heavy oil will give you the best results. There's a ding on the leadpipe, a couple dents and dings on the first valve slide crook, a dent at the bottom bend of the shepherd's crook and some dents and repair work at the top bend, a couple dents on the bell near the first valve, a couple dents on the bell flare, and one spot of the bell flare where a dent has been repaired. There's some lacquer wear over much of the horn. The lyre box screw is missing.
