The Adams A5 Bb Trumpet - A Commercial Powerhouse

This is a killer horn - huge tonal spectrum (see video below) and we love the gold lacquer. It's durable and it looks so good!!

The A5 is perfectly suited for the commercial trumpeter looking for a lightweight horn with excellent intonation, slotting, and response. Initially when we designed this instrument here we thought it was only going to cater towards the commercial/lead trumpeter but we find many of our classical artists looking for an easy-playing instrument for “pops” work also liking this very much.

    Selected Adams A5 Trumpet

Posted by Scotty Welch on 25th Sep 2021

Not my first A5, I remember a few years ago when Trent was just getting started with Adams and I purchased my first A5, first rehearsal the scream lead of the band tried it and said WOW and he bought one the next week, when he went to rehearsal in Green Valley the solo trumpet player loved it and ordered one, the third trumpet did the same and they are all still playing there Adams trumpets, I dinged my pretty good and had it repaired but being anal I sold it to a friend who is still playing it and loving it, two week ago a dear friend a local legend trumpet player stopped over to play a bit with me in my studio, said he wanted to get a new horn with fast response, great tone, easy to play, and play's very much in tune---WOW, he just described my A5, he tried it and said I will not leave here until you sell me your horn, well as you can see I ordered another one, have three gigs on it this first week and love it as much as the one I just sold. T hank you Trent, Josh, and the staff at Austin Custom Brass for your alway's wonderful attitude, and helpfulness, you guy's really Rock! Thanks so Much Scotty Welch
