The Schagerl James Morrison JM2-L trumpet is geared toward commercial environments, especially if you’re a soloist looking for a little more warmth and roundness in your tone and articulations. The sound is a little toward the darker, richer side of the spectrum. Slotting is secure but not restrictive. This horn is versatile enough for all-around playing, but at this price it would also make a great complement to a brighter horn for lead playing.

The twin tube Sterling silver leadpipe sets this horn apart from other trumpets at this price point. It adds stability and responsiveness to the feel of the horn, and can never develop redrot.
