These are some of the coolest vintage horns ever! There are several dents and dings around the horn and some solder marks (see photos). The valves feel good with Berp Bio Oil #3 (thicker viscosity)!

This is definitely one of Trent's favorite vintage horns and check out this video from another one from 1949:

This horn has a Sweet Playing tone, that is not too dark or too bright. A wonderfully responsive and beautiful sounding instrument! Sound can change considerably with different depths of mouthpiece. A NICE PLAYING vintage horn!

Features:

  • Valve block soldered directly to the bell and leadpipe
  • Art-deco design
  • Internally threaded top and bottom valve caps
  • Reverse wrap
  • Reverse 1st, 2nd, and 3rd slides
  • Trombone style water keys
  • 225 or ML bore (around a 0.455 at the 2nd valve, a little smaller than a Bach ML bore)
  • Unique valve block design
