Monette B993 Trumpet in gold!
Here's another awesome trumpet from David Monette Corp. This one came into us on consignment and is in great shape overall.

Overall excellent condition overall
Gold has slightly faded over time (almost Every Monette fades from our experience) but still looks awesome!
Previous owner put a felt on the first valve where their thumb would rest. We have taken this off and I think we will be able to clean that up a bit but the mark is present. This was strictly a preventative felt and no rot or anything serious other than some slight surface wear.
There's some slight wear underneath the bell where your left hand would rest
Compression is EXCELLENT
No dents and only a few TINY dings, too small to photograph
the 993 trumpet was Dave's lightest big-bell horn in the 900 series at the time. Wynton played the 993 model for many years.
Original case is in very good +++ condition
Comes also with a STC-3 B2 (non-Prana) piece
This is a world class instrument that plays amazingly well and deserves to be played full time. Very versatile. This trumpet is great for any style. It is capable of producing dark, bright, brilliant and/or downright massive sound. These trumpets keep their resale value very well. Normally, there is a 12-month waiting period to have this horn built at Monette, this is your chance to get it now. Monette no longer offers gold plating as an option for their instruments due to the ever-rising cost of Gold Plate ($4700 an Ounce)
