This trumpet from Anton Possegger is absolutely amazing! I'm incredibly honored to be a dealer for this stunning handmade instrument. It has been a long time since we had our last Possegger trumpet in the shop, but so worth the wait. This horn is even better than the last! The MAW valve block is truly amazing and the customizable elements of this horn allow you to dial in the resistance, sound spread, and overtones with ease! Two leadpipes and two tuning slides are included to get you started. There are two full sets of bottom caps so you can adjust the mass distribution to your liking. You can also order additional bells from Possegger if you want to change the sound even further. The bell we have is about 5.5" in diameter and the throat taper is slightly larger than a 37 (but not quite as as big as a 72).
This horn is insane! I'm really amazed by how fluid and connected the notes are throughout the registers. And because of the MAW valves it is free blowing and blows even from the low register to the stratosphere!
