Here's a very cool Large Bore Bach Stradivarius 37 in silver plate! Great option if you're looking for a Bach Stradivarius at a attractive price.
This horn was built in the late 1980s and shows some signs of use and age but is in overall nice condition. There is some plating wear on the valve block, as well as some spots of plating wear on the 1st valve slide and 3rd valve slide, but no leaks. There is some tarnish and some scratching on the finish (as expected with a horn of this age). There is a small dent on the bottom side of the horn in the bell, just past the bell tail bend, by the 1st valve slide. On the bell, close to the logo, there is a blemish in the bell. All issues seem to be cosmetic and do not affect the playability. It has very good compression. The valves and slides work freely. This horn is on consignment through ACB by a member of one of the premiere military bands. They got it through a government auction and engraved underneath the 3rd valve slide are the words, "541st Air Force Band."
The 37 bell is the most popular bell that Bach makes, and is well suited to a variety of musical applications. New Bach trumpets are selling for over $4k, so here is your chance to pick one up at a fraction of the price!
