Description
The Selmer Radial is one of the coolest trumpets ever! If you notice the valve block, the 1st and 3rd valves are actually slightly angled towards the 2nd valve! This it a magnificent player, and is also in great shape! Maurice Andre helped with the design of these trumpets. My hero Clark Terry played many years on a Selmer Radial as well.
This horn is great original shape! The only things you will notice is:
1. There's some slight acid bleeding around the bell rim. This is NOT red rot and is only a cosmetic thing. The horn's structural integrity is 100%. This is something that occasionally happens on Selmer trumpets from this time frame.
(the photo makes it look worse than it actually is).
The valves have some discoloration on them but the compression is not affected in the least!
this horn has a .462 bore and a 5-inch bell.

Compression is great as well for the age and with a thicker oil (like Hetman Classic, Berp bio #3, or Ultra Pure black label)
Sold with the great condition original case (always a sign that the horn has been treated right in it's time) but no mouthpiece
