Mike Del Quadro and I have been friends for many years (if not decades).  A few years ago we had one of the best trumpets I have ever played in the shop.  It was a custom horn Mike made for Marquis Hill and it was truly spectacular.

I had asked Mike if he would ever consider making another and I thought that discussion was tabled.   Fast forward to the ITG 2023 in Minneapolis and he showed me this horn and said ACB could offer this trumpet it if I wanted. I didn't even hesitate and said YES!

This horn has a G  leadpipe of Mike's  (similar to the Grande Campana) and a two piece Taylor Bell  with 5.5 inch flare.  This particular bell has a brass stem and Bronze flare.  It just sounds IMHO magnificent.
