The Chicago Stinger offers a unique sound to your playing and is a lot of fun to play! Energetic "buzz" sound that is sure to get your audiences' attention. Easy and free to play, it does not create awkward resistance in the feel of the horn. Fits comfortably in small bore tenor trombone to large bore tenor.

This is what Hirschman says: The Hirschman "Chicago Stinger" is inspired by the buzz mutes of yesteryear, but plays more in tune and blows more freely than these older mutes, which are no longer sold or manufactured.
