B&S Challenger I 137: An Awesome Choice for a Student or Comeback Player Seeking a Great Sounding Trumpet

If you're looking for a trumpet that will blend perfectly with a section of Bachs, but at a more affordable price point, the B&S Challenger I 3137 might be the horn for you. This pre-owned trumpet is in a beautiful gold lacquer. The bell was damaged during shipping, so there's some repair work on the bell near the valve block and some solder and lacquer work on the front brace. If you know where to look you can see the repair work, but it's not as obvious to the casual glance. You can see that the bell is not perfectly straight - we wanted to avoid over working the metal so the horn would retain its best sound.

This horn has a nice, crisp sound and easy response. It is 100% German made, with a one-piece hand-hammered bell. This trumpet is an excellent value for the price and would be a great option if you're looking to upgrade from a student rental horn or need a backup professional trumpet. B&S hard case and 7C mouthpiece included.
