Stunning B.A.C. Custom Elliot Mason Trombone!
It is rare to find these on the used market! This trombone is a work of art that sounds great!
B.A.C. teamed up with Elliot Mason of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to create a truly unique trombone! Some of the Elliot Mason Signature Series features are: Custom specs, multiple choices of high quality metals options, numerous screw bells, elliptical slide crooks, threaded balancing counterweights, multi-directional adjustable thumb rest and diverse lead pipe variants.
This custom features a black lacquered stem with the engraving not in black to pop! The other parts in the instrument are in a combo satin lacquer where parts are satin, other parts are clear lacquered. The bell flares have an antique patina look to them.
There are no signs of damage like dings or dents on the body of the horn or bell stem. There are a few small pings in the Gold brass bell flare There is a lot of lacquer wear around the main tuning slide and on the slide braces. There are also prominent scratches on the counterweight plate and thumb rest plate. The tuning slide plate looks to have been relacquered.
