1952 Bach Stradivarius New York Model 37 Trumpet
Here we have a New York Stradivarius and it is sweet! These horns are incredibly versatile and have a very nice brilliance in their sound. Bach New York Models are prized for their amazing playability and gorgeous resonant sound. This one was manufactured in 1952 right before the move to the Mt. Vernon factory. This horn has been well cared for but does present a few signs of its vintage. There is some general scratching around the horn and general lacquer loss in spots, primarily the valve block and bell stem, bow, flare and leadpipe. There are a few small barely visible pings in the bell flare. Beyond this it is in very good shape for its age and is in need of a good home take this amazing piece of history today!
The Bach Stradivarius Model 37 trumpet remains one of the most widely recognized trumpet designs ever produced.
