One of the most known trumpets ever made is the Martin Committee.

pxl-20260824-143351243.jpg

Typically the name Miles Davis is attached to whatever conversation is being had about the horn. Committee's are known for their
flexibility and beautiful sound. This Martin Committee comes from the Leblanc-production era. It stillfeatures a hand-hammered bell and reverse lead-pipe. The feel and timbre ofthis horn confuses some of the most discerning ears with how comfortablemost players are on it. Whether or not you're looking to sound like Miles, but you are looking for an excellent horn. This is it

The T3460 features a .460" ML bore and gold plated slides

The horn is in great shape overall with only a small bit of wear on the gold plated trim areas (like shown in this photo above)

"The feel, balance and flexibility needed for subtle, intricate jazz passages are just a few of the reasons why Martin Committee trumpets have been used by many jazz greats. The T3460 possesses the legendary focus and centering that make the Committee famous. The distinctive response of model T3460 produces a tone that can be tinged with brilliance or mellowed to a rich darkness"
