Yamaha YCR-731 Cornet

Check out this fantastic cornet that's just come into the shop! This is a Yamaha Model 731 cornet. These horns are great players and a fine example of Yamaha's craftsmanship and wonderful sound quality.

The 731 Model has nice round tone with very good projection. It would be a great option for those looking to upgrade their current cornet set up!

This horn comes to us on consignment. It is is in great shape but does show some previous use. There is some scratching on the body and plate wear on the valve block. There is also a bit of tarnish on the 3rd finger button.

There is some slight denting on the leadpipe, the bell near the shepherds crook, and close to the flare.  It is in otherwise fantastic shape with smooth valve and slide action!
