Made in the mid 1960's, the Martin Committee Valve Trombone offers that classic Martin sound Known for a warm, singing sound with natural phrasing ease, these horns appeal to jazz trombonists looking for vintage character and playability.
It was refurbished and relacquered sometime in the 1980's, the original engraving has been buffed a bit which shows that it was refinished. Minimal lacquer wear. There are signs of acid bleed on the valve section and on the neckpipe. Pistons show no wear and move smoothly. There is a small dent/ping in the 1st valve tuning slide.
