Here we have an Olds Super Trumpet that has just arrived to us on consignment. This is such a fun horn and always great to have in the shop. Known for its exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship, this model stands as a testament to the great legacy of Olds.
This horn is in good shape considering its vintage but has seen a bit of use. There is lacquer wear around the body of the horn as well as a few small pings and dents in the bell stem, and 3rd valve slide. This horn is also missing its 1st valve slide thumb saddle. Beyond this, it looks fantastic and plays wonderfully. the valves action is great, and the slides all move freely. The compression is fair but this horn would do better with a thicker oil such as Berp Bio oil #3.
