Check out this great Couesnon flugelhorn that we've just received on consignment.
From the serial # this either from late 1968 or early 1969.
This horn is in wonderful condition for it's age but does present a few signs of use.
There is some minor plating loss and oxidation in the finish primarily on the bell and bell flare.
There are also a few minor pings on the lower bell bend. Beyond this, it is in excellent shape and is still ready to play for years to come. The valves move smoothly and the slides move freely as well.
The valves have decent compression, but would do better with a thicker oil such as Berp Bio Oil #3 (couesnon's never had good compression FYI so this is typical for this instrument)
