Trent purchased this directly from his friend Mike DelQuadro. This horn is a very special instrument.
This was made for the amazing trumpeter Carl Fischer (Billy Joel's trumpeter and former Maynard Ferguson alumnus) and truly is a one-of-a-kind build! Carl ended up sticking with his Maynard 38B (how can you blame him to have such a piece of history) but this DQ trumpet is a masterpiece! If you were ever thinking what would a slightly more open Conn 38B would play like this IS IT! This horn has a huge core sound, fantastic intonation, FAST response, perfect valves, and is a magnificent instrument!
Trent is only selling as he's a Bell Trumpet Artist now and this horn truly deserves to be played and not kept in his studio.

One standard (with custom inlay) in raw
One rounded in Nickel with nickel inner slides
As you can see these custom inlays are just stunning
This horn is in excellent condition overall. Has been played very little and the price is reflecting the HIGHLY-Customized nature to this instrument:
