The Adams TB1: Tenor Trombone for Symphonic and Solo Performance
The Adams TB1 is a trombone that is fully handcrafted by the Adams Brass professionals. Adams master craftsmen have produced one of the richest sounding trombone bells available.The 1-piece hand-hammered bell is made with the same precision as all other Adams Brass instruments, combining true artisanal skills with modern improved techniques. The open feel, deepness, and richness in sound, in combination with a smooth and quick handslide action, make the TB1 ideal for both symphonic and solo performance.
This Adams TB1 setup features a Yellow Brass Bell which offers a rich sound, with great projection and an efficient, open feel. This valve design eliminates the metal-to-metal contact found in any other axial flow design through the use of sealed bearings both in the nose and in the back plate. This assures tight tolerances that will resist wear over time. The combination of Nickel Silver in the slide adds brilliance to the sound. This has a classic, full-bodied, trombone sound that is versatile and ideal for the trombonist who may want to play in an orchestra, wind band, brass band, brass quintet, solo-recitals, and even pit orchestras for musicals.
