This setup has the larger of the two tuba rims offered by AR but has the shallow H cup and smaller 8.0mm throat to support it and not feel too big. To compensate for a potentially brighter sound, the backbore is made of phosphorous bronze giving a wonderful darker color and is the medium size GR2 taper.
