The ACB Orchestral Trombone is a .547 large bore trombone with rotary F-valve. It comes in two models. The Classic, which is a closed wrap (and has a slightly thinner width hand slide) and The Modern which is an open wrap. Both have a wonderful tone, with great response, excellent projection and clarity of tone in all registers.

Selecting your mouthpiece:

• The ACB 6 is closest to a Bach 6 1/2 AL in size. (This is more common for beginners and younger players.)
• The ACB 5 is akin to a Bach 5G in size. (This is on of the most common large bore trombone sizes and fits very well with these horns. This is the recommended size if you are unsure what to pick.)
• The ACB 5.1 is a little deeper cup than the ACB 5
• The ACB 4 is similar to a Bach 4G in size. 

 Denis Wick Aluminum Straight Mute

A straight mute is one of the most commonly used mutes in concert band/orchestral literature.
