Olds Special Trumpet
Here we have an Olds Special Trumpet that has just arrived to us on consignment. This is such a fun horn and always great to have in the shop. Known for its exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship, this model stands as a testament to the great legacy of Olds.
This horn is in good condition but does present sings of use from its age. There is some scratching and a fair amount of lacquer wear around the body of the horn. The crook of the bell has a good sized ding in it (see photos). Beyond that, this horn is in wonderful playing condition and has that beautiful vintage olds sound. The compression is better with a thicker oil on this horn, we recommend Berp Bio Oil #3. The slides all move freely.
