The Adams TA-A2 Trumpet a great asset in every musical situation!
It's been a long time coming as this trumpet has been in development with Adams brass for well over a year. Originally developed with top US orchestral musicians, the new Master Series trumpets have a thick core and tons of spin in the sound. It's a wonderful classical and orchestral trumpet. When Trent first played the new Master series C Trumpet, he asked them to make a Bb version as well.
This is the TA-A2 Trumpet. This horn was the precursor to the Adams Master series Bb trumpet. This is an extremely versatile instrument and is perfect for those players looking for a flexible instrument that provides tons of character and body in its tone. This horn comes to us on consignment and it is in excellent condition. There is a barely noticeable blemish on the rim of the inner bell flare and some very very minor scratching. Beyond this, this horn is in fantastic shape. The valves move with excellent action and the slides move smoothly as well.
The Master series has a distinctive sound with a lot of core and sparkle. It will blend well with a section and has a lightning quick response. It is SUCH a fluid, nimble, and instantaneous trumpet! With its secure, centered slotting, the responsive nature of the horn translates into great agility and fluidity of sound on faster lines. The Master series is a ML bore and has a similar blow to the Adams A2. A mouthpiece is not included with the TA-A2, you may want one (or several) that’s dialed in for your specific situation. We have a huge range of options in our ACB Standard Series. Like all of the Adams Custom series trumpets, the Master series has Bauerfeind valves, arguably some of the best valves in the world (Bauerfeind is owned by Adams). The bell taper was designed for both great projection and exceptional feedback behind the horn.
