Breslmair 1 Piece Trumpet Mouthpieces

We are super excited to have a small selection of the amazing Breslmair Wien mouthpieces available in both the G and BV line. Karl Breslmair has been producing high end custom mouthpieces since 1968, creating equipment that top tier players around the world can rely on.

The G Series of mouthpieces is geared towards a variety of classical work and works especially well with rotary trumpets. From Mahler to Haydn, this line has you covered.

G1 - This one piece model has the G Rim, G1 Cup, and 1 shank, and is designed to be an big orchestral powerhouse.

     G Rim: In the Vienna blank, distinctive inner edge, sloping rather flat towards the outside. Offers good endurance.

     G1 Cup: The 2nd deepest in the line. Provides a lot of volume and sonorous sound. 

     1 Shank: The standard for the G1, supporting the power of the cup and rim above it.

Cup Depth: Deep

 G2S - This one-piece model has the G Rim, G2 Cup, and S shank, and is a well-rounded orchestral mouthpiece.

     G Rim: In the Vienna blank, distinctive inner edge, sloping rather flat towards the outside. Offers good endurance.

     G2 Cup: Slightly shallower than the G1, it provides a little bit more support but does not sacrifice on sound quality or intonation.

      S Shank: A slightly tighter shank that provides an extra level of ease of use to an already supportive cup, without a significant loss in sound quality.

G3C - This one-piece model has the G Rim, G3C Cup and 3 Shank. This mouthpiece can do it all, but is particularly suited towards lighter orchestral repertoire, brass band, or wind band work.

      G Rim: In the Vienna blank, distinctive inner edge, sloping rather flat towards the outside. Offers good endurance.

      G3C Cup: A shallower cup than the G1/G2, it provides quite a bit of support for playing heavy brass band and wind band music without getting too bright.

      3 Shank: The standard for G3 cups, providing a precise response and slightly brighter sound.

Cup Depth: Medium Shallow

The BV Series of mouthpieces can do it all. The wide variety of sizes and depths allows the player to fit into any situation. This line pairs especially well with piston valve setups.

BV1 - The biggest in the series. Its works great for both lighter classical repertoire and jazz playing producing a great full sound.
