ACB Student Trombone (for students of any age)
We are excited to offer the ACB Student Model Trombone. This .500 bore straight tenor trombone is a wonderful choice for students of all ages. Whether you are a young student beginning in a band or you are picking up the trombone for the first time later in life this a an excellent choice for students to learn and grow on. However, this trombone goes beyond "the student" and would make an excellent small bore trombone as a doubler for a low brass player who needs a trombone for jazz band or any trombonist seeking a back-up trombone.
The best features of the trombone are that it plays evenly and in tune across all registers and produces a full trombone sound that will allow any student to enjoy playing music while developing as a musician. It is also very well balanced and easy to hold for all hand-sizes (which is important for younger students who are still growing physically and musically). The slide action is smooth. The trombone is easy to connect with and play comfortably. Another aspect of this horn is the case which offers security for the horn and three options to carry - handle, over the shoulder strap, and as a backpack.
We include an ACB 6.1s mouthpiece which is a great size for beginners (close to a 6 3/4 size mouthpiece). A quality mouthpiece is an important part of any students' ability to develop and grow. The ACB 6.1s helps start them off right!
