Adams A4-LT Custom Reserve Series Trumpet
Check out this very cool and rare treat! This was the first official "Adams Custom Reserve" built trumpet for ACB! This trumpet has a lot of cool features, check them out below. The thorn itself is in fantastic condition save for a small ping in the bell flare. Otherwise this horn looks and plays fantastically and this horn is ready to ship immediately!
Built on the A4-LT body, this horn is an ideal choice for the soloist looking for an extremely rich, warm, and fluid sounding horn. One of the things we stress about this instrument is the fact it will work in many different musical environments due to wonderful coloring and richness of the sound.
The A4LT is a result of extensive collaborative work with Adams Performing Artist Amik Guerra. Featuring a 5 inch one-piece bell and a heavy chassis with light weight bracing, this horn is one of the heavier Adams designs but not has heavy as the A4. The lighter trim and bracing gives this horn a little more flexibility and agility than the A4.
1. Fully Adjustable Gap Receiver (AGR): The AGR is patented by Adams will help you truly dial in any gap settings you'd like, which will make the horn respond vastly different depending on your wants. Want a super clean, crisp, punchy sound? Use smaller gap settings! Want a loose, creamy ability to bend notes easily? Set up a larger gap with the AGR!
2. A9 style waterkeys: a vintage nod from Adams to the older horns like the Martin Committee.
3. This horn also has a beautiful completely custom Red Brass bell with 5-inch diameter. The sound on a mic is hard to believe... thick, rich, dark, warm, almost cornetty at times. The 5" diameter keeps the sound from spreading too wide as well in a louder musical setting.
