If you're looking for a great American cornet, check out this Bach Stradivarius!
This horn has the 37 bell, which is quite well rounded (for use in jazz and classical!). The valves feel great as well! This horn has some signs of use, including several preventative patches on the leadpipe. There are small dings in all three valve slide crooks, and the nuts are missing from the third valve slide stop rod (you can see some wear from an elastic band that was used to hold the slide in). There's a dent on the bell tail and another on the bell bow, as well as several smaller dings along the length of the bell. You can see where some work has been done on the throat and flare of the bell as well. There's a little wear on the valve plating but overall they're in good shape. There's some light wear on the silver plating as well, primarily at the contact points.
Overall, this is a nice playing cornet. We've aligned the valves here at ACB using high quality synthetic pads. If you've been thinking about getting a classic American straight bell cornet, this may be the option you've been waiting for!
This horn is from the late 80's. It has that classic Bach sound!
Here's a video of a different Bach 37 cornet that Trent has in his collection.
