Okay this is a horn that took some time for me to finally decide if I wanted to part with it but since I'm an Adams artist these days I have decided to finally part with it.
The unique sound of this rotary piccolo trumpet will set you apart from the crowd whether you're performing as a soloist, playing for a wedding, or leading a section.
There are some signs of usage, some lacquer wear, signs of bell removal on the bell into the valve block (done prior to my ownership) but otherwise it's in good condition. This is the standard sterling bell model and the sound is absolutely gorgeous!
I will find a clip of me playing Michael Haydn on this horn (have to dig through the archives....).
New these horns now sell for well over $6000 US discounted.

The J. Scherzer 8111 rotary valve piccolo trumpet in Bb/A allows ease of playing with a warm and comforting sound, ideal for mastering the Baroque trumpet repertoire.
With its high quality of German craftsmanship, Johannes Scherzer has a deep family history of making brass instruments for over 100 years:
In 1900, Emil Knoth founded and ran the Rino workshop in Marknuekirchen until his son, Kurt Knoth, took over and eventually put the business in the very capable hands of his nephew, Johannes. Ever since, J. Scherzer has been manufacturing only the highest quality hand-crafted rotary valve trumpets.
