About the Schagerl JM1-L Trumpet

Schagerl trumpets are the perfect synthesis of traditional craftsmanship and innovative design, and made to meet the needs of musicians of all styles and levels. Schagerl trumpets are played all over the world in great Symphony Orchestras and Ensembles, by great soloists, in brass bands, and in educational musical settings from secondary schools to Music Conservatories.

Internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist James Morrison was the driving force behind the design of this Schagerl trumpet model. Available in lacquer or silver plate (This particular horn is in lacquer), this trumpet is perfect for the needs of any musician who needs an instrument with accurate intonation and consistent response in all registers. The extensive use of gold brass gives this Schagerl trumpet a warm, focused sound with brilliant overtones. Its easy response and remarkably accurate intonation allow endless enjoyment and musical satisfaction. Only an instrument with these features deserves to bear the name of James Morrison.
