This instrument does take a cornet shank mouthpiece. The rotary valve on this horn switches the pitch between Bb and A. It is missing the wing nut grip. This horn does have some small dings on it (see pictures). The valves do appear to be in good shape, though. These horns are quite rare as they were only produced between 1918 and 1923! Please feel free to call or email the shop with any questions that you might have about this instrument, or any other instrument in the collection!
Please note ACB will not be running these sales. We are helping the Endsley estate sell Jerry's collection. We are simply acting as a liaison and all sales will go directly through the family. This way the family gets all the proceeds eliminating a middleman.
It is to be assumed all sales are final through the estate and horns are in as-is condition. Any questions should be asked prior to purchasing the instruments. We will host all photos, videos, and be happy to answer any questions.
The price shown is only an estimate by Austin Custom Brass. We will be accepting fair offers which could be actually greater than the estimate. Email us to make an offer
If you see the listing of the horn, it's still available (the "sold out" is only because we are not running the sales directly through ACB).
If you have additional questions send us an email.
