"I just used Clean Stroke Valve Wash for the first time on my trumpet.  The valves were sticking badly, especially 3rd valve, and I was thinking it was time for an acid bath but the cost was holding me back.  I thought Clean Stroke Valve Wash might be a good alternative to improve the valve action.  What a difference!  It eliminated the sticking valves and saved me about $100 compared to the acid bath.  A lot of people, especially students, don't realize the difference valve cleaning makes for a horn.  Thanks guys, for the great product."

    Great for Valve Break-In

Posted by Tony C. on 14th Dec 2022

I've used Clean-Stroke on a couple of new horns this year which have VERY tight valve tolerances. It's a great product for removing the inevitable manufacturer residue from pistons and valve casings. Highly recommended.

    Clean-Stroke Valve Wash

Posted by Chris Ballman on 20th Jul 2018

I applied the valve wash over the course of about 3 days, for roughly 6-7 hours of practice time. The results were positive! After wiping off the valves and re-applying oil, the valves were definitely improved. Faster and smoother. Be advised though... while good, this is a short term fix for sluggish valves. A professional cleaning is always preferable.
