What a beautiful engraving! This New York Bach Stradivarius Cornet is a sight to behold! It is silver plated, with much of the plating being tarnished/worn off. The floral engraving is in gold plate. The valves are in decent shape and respond well with a thicker valve oil (we used Hetman Classic). It is in need of a cleaning and servicing, but it does not have and dents or dings (please note that there could be some minor dings that we cannot see because of the tarnish). There is some messy solder work on the top of the tuning slide, but that is the only thing we could find. The serial is 3XXX!
