We received one of our Doubler's Series cornets in satin lacquer with a small factory blemish so we're listing it at an additional savings. This cornet has a small ping in the leadpipe near the first valve (see photo). If you've always wanted to own a cornet but couldn't justify the cost, now's your chance!

[NB this cornet is the satin lacquer version of the standard lacquer version in several of the pictures. The photo with satin lacquer shows the issue in question]

Austin Custom Brass  "Doubler's Series"  Cornet

Up for sale is an exciting  new line of custom instruments designed for doubling.   This cornet possesses a yellow brass bell  in 4.685 inches and a .459 bore.  The slightly smaller bell and  bore make these horns easy to switch to from your trumpet or flugel work. Once I receive this instrument I perform a few custom alterations including a valve alignment. This is the best value horn you can find!  The horn comes with a nice Pro-Tec style gig bag and mouthpiece.

Here is a video of the ACB Doubler's Cornet!

ACB Doubler Cornet
Written by Wallace Salter on 25th Oct 2019

Bought as "B" stock (nice deal w/mp upgrade)......lovely horn even with the very tiny dent in the lead pipe. I'm an inexperienced brass player and this is my first cornet.......thanks to Josh for coaching me to be patient.....really starting to get a nice sound with my ACB FAB 5 mp. Thanks!
