Description
This pre-owned Adams C1-XL C trumpet is in great condition. There's some scratching on the lacquer, one ping on the top of the bell near the back brace, and a couple insignificant mute pings near the bell rim. No redrot. The valves are fast and smooth, well broken in with fantastic compression (measures like new. Adams valves are incredible!). The hidden reversed leapipe gives you the benefits of the longer pipe without affecting the brace positioning. The combination of the XL bore and .50 gauge yellow brass bell gives you a powerful sound with great projection, while maintaining a wide spectrum of colors and dynamic control. The C1 has a more brilliant sound than the C2, perfect for projecting through the orchestral texture. The polished gold lacquer looks fantastic!
